We’ve designed a dressy one for the ages, and named it in honor of an alpine landmark of the ski and cycling worlds, even if this upscale gilet is probably better suited for a top-down Alfa Romeo tour of the Como lakes district. Tailoring details include stand-up collar, a gently swooping barchetta welted chest pocket, and a high-low hem that provides more of a classically elongated suit-jacket silhouette. The twill-bemberg lining speaks to the tailor’s craft, too, while the 150-gram down fill and two-way zipper hail from the speedier world of mountain sports.
