This unique jacket is made from high-density weather cloth, a WWII-era fabric that’s been recreated by Japanese experts using vintage looms. Blocks wind and water—the yarn swells when wet, fortifying the moisture barrier. Shorter than a field coat, so as not to impede wading, and boasts 17 pockets for standard fishing kit, lighters, knives, tools, backup eyewear, and other paraphernalia. Bottle opener on the zipper’s ring-pull. Corduroy collar, snap-closure cuffs, drainage grommets at pockets, brass trim, and a mesh cape lining. 100% Japanese cotton.
