Linen Sailor Pants
LINEN SAILOR PANTS
The Admiralty Would Approve Naval tradition starting in the mid-1800s (function and swagger leading the way), button-front wide-leg sailor pants became compelling flower-child fashion in the ’60s and now, in European linen, are even more alluring today. Wherever the magic may lie, ours have it in spades. We find the appeal obvious—the way the pants sit smoothly at the hip and the near-mystical form flattery of back lacing, with ranks of buttons (aye aye, cap’n) completing these oh-so-stylish pants. Tailored of European linen in a smart herringbone weave, they sport the traditional buttoned bib fly plus a convenient side zip. The wide, straight legs are cropped mid-calf for port-of-call panache. 100% linen; White pants are half-lined. Cut & sewn in Portugal.
