ALGONQUIN SPORTSMAN FIELD JACKET
Incomparable in Its Class
Borrowing cues from ’40s field wear but besting any vintage ever made, the Algonquin Sportsman Field Jacket reflects our passion for far exceeding expectations—building a jacket without parallel, detail-rich, weather-ready, ultracomfortable, long-lived and great-looking. While other companies merely manufacture posers (a look for fashion’s sake), our jacket is expertly tailored, cut & sewn in New York City, commencing with only the finest of fabrics and fittings. Venerable Halley Stevensons’ Scottish waxed-cotton poplin comprises the jacket’s exterior, keeping the inclement at bay while the lining—European plaid cotton twill paired with ripstop nylon—ensures comfort and durability, as does the British moleskin lining the hand pockets and collar. The finest British corduroy is employed for additional warmth at collar and cuffs. Equipped with a snap storm flap protecting a solid brass zipper with leather fob, elbow patches and a throat latch at the ready. Made for convenient stowage, featuring flap utility pockets fitted with bellow and pleat, plus chest and interior pockets. Incomparable and true field wear, purpose-built, designed and fabricated for decades of use and enjoyment. NYC-made.
