They’re back. Vuarnet VL002’s return. Squaw Valley, 1960, the winter Olympics. Jean Vuarnet, the first downhill racer to employ the “egg” position, tucking, wins the downhill wearing the famed French Skylinx lens developed in the late 1950’s. The maker and Vuarnet team up, two legends simultaneously born. For over 50 years Vuarnet has been producing the best protection for your eyes using a patented mineral glass lens manufactured in the firms own Paris ateliers. Scratch and shock resistant, the lens features phenomenal optical clairty, high color perception, hydrophobic and anti reflective. The finest sun protection made is handsomely housed within one of the sexiest frame silhouettes yet made. Sexy and superb. Vuarnet’s original 60’s Squaw Valley Cat-Eye Style. Matte black.
