Item #: 3931c
The predecessor to the modern suit jacket, the 18th-century hacking jacket was designed for gentlemen to wear while inspecting their lands astride a saddled horse, or hack. Tailored for comfort and some protection against the inclement, it was paramount that the coat look smashingly good post-ride. Our Rook & Raven jacket meets these criteria handsomely in an original design cut and sewn in New York City. Unstinting quality with four flap pockets, waxed-cotton elbow patches, sleeves and exposed seams lined and bound in 100% cotton French twill. Available in Brisbane's Cavalry Twill, woven in England of premium cotton, the clean double twill employed for officer's uniforms, smooth surfaced, hard wearing, in Dark Navy.
